From 1954 to 1969, Sister Catherine, S.S.N.D., shaped the young lives at St. Joseph Catholic School teaching first and second grade students. To honor her legacy, The Sister Catherine Tuition Reduction Fund (TRF) was established to make a Christian-based academically excellent education at St. Joseph School accessible and affordable for families in Freeburg and the surrounding communities.
All families with children enrolled in kindergarten through eighth grade benefit from the Sister Catherine TRF. Through the generous donations from alumni, individuals, businesses, trusts, and estates, the Fund ensures that financial barriers do not prevent children from receiving an education rooted in Christian values and academic excellence.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the TRF empowers donors to make a lasting impact through recurring gifts or legacy contributions.
