Baptism is the first Sacrament that we receive in the Catholic Church. It is the first of three Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist).  In order to have your child baptized at St. Joseph or St. Agatha's Church, your family should be registered in the parish and should be regularly attending weekend Mass.

Baptisms are scheduled through the Parish Office and generally take place during the weekend Mass or can be scheduled outside of Mass, if necessary.

If this is your first child being baptized, then you will need to attend a Baptism preparation class with the Pastor or the Permanent Deacon prior to the Baptism.

Godparents must be Catholic in good standing and should regularly attend weekend Mass. If they are not members of St. Joseph Parish then a Suitability Verification Form will need to be filled out and signed by their Pastor. This form can be obtained at the Parish Office.

Parents and Godparents are encouraged to watch the REBORN series at the link below.
